One of our Batangas patients was assessed and cast for a Custom-made Spinal Brace Orthosis.
We will first take the patient’s measurements and perform casting. The casting process involves making a mold of the patient’s body part that requires support or correction.
Measurements are taken from the chest, waist, and hips. After which, pouring plaster is applied to the patient’s trunk or body part to create negative casts of different areas of the body.
After taking the measurements and casting, we will now make a positive cast that can be used as a template for designing and fabricating the custom orthosis device.
Spocare Prosthetics and Orthotics' orthosis goal is to treat and support the spine of a patient suffering from spinal issues such as Scoliosis.
