Bilateral Ankle-Foot Orthosis measurement and casting for an 8-year-old Spocare Prosthetics and Orthotics patient. She has Spasticity, which is an uncontrollable movement of the foot that causes tremors and tiptoeing.
She had her casting done at her home. It took about 15 minutes to make the cast and she didn't complain during the whole process. We also explained how the AFO would work and why we hope using this orthosis will help improve her foot movements.
Spocare's Ankle-Foot Orthosis is intended to stabilize the ankle, foot, and heel in order to improve function and aid in controlling foot movements.
