Being able to help someone who needs it is one of the most pleasant experiences in life. That moment when you can see how happy they are to receive the help they need. Recently, we had that pleasure. Spocare was given the opportunity to put a smile on one of our patients' faces by delivering a customized Ankle Foot Orthosis (AFO).
Our patient is 37 years old, she had a stroke years ago and has limited movement in both feet. This orthosis will aid in realigning her foot thus aiding in her recovery. This will be beneficial also throughout her therapy.
It was great to deliver the finished, custom-fit AFO to our patient and get her feedback on how it is aiding her recovery. Here at Spocare, we are excited to continue making custom AFOs as well as other orthotic solutions for everyone.
